Abu Dhabi: The 20th Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award (SKEA) ceremony, organised by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will take place on May 4 at the Emirate Palace Hotel.
The event will include the participation of high-level officials, dignitaries, ambassadors, and company representatives.
The Award covers a range of sectors and includes four categories, including the Elite Category, which is awarded to world-class organisations with scores higher than 700 points, the Diamond Category, which is awarded to distinguished organisations with 600+ points, the Gold Category, which is awarded to organisations with a very good rating with 500+ points, and the Silver Category, which is awarded to good organisations with 350+ points.

Achieving the highest levels of organisational excellence and quality is a major component of our wise leadership’s vision, which emphasises innovation and excellence as essential pillars for ensuring our readiness for the future, supporting companies to adopt an agile approach in response to any rapid changes, keeping up with global trends, and enhancing performance across different fields.
Mr. Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of SKEA, shared.
“The award, which was launched two decades ago under the name of the late Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has consistently pursued this mission since its inception and continues to do so with the generous support of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE,” the Chairman continued.

Mr. Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber and member of the Higher Committee of the award, said: “The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, launched by the Abu Dhabi Chamber, is moving on the right track towards becoming a well-established knowledge-sharing platform and an integrated program for organisational development, transferring the best international practices in various fields.
“We are pleased to have hosted the 20th cycle of the award in person following the recovery of the economy and the private sector from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Following the pandemic, private businesses have focused their efforts on optimising their performance, which has raised the standards of the companies participating in the award,” Mr. Al Mheiri added.
