Czech Republic: The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met with the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavský.
The discussion, which was a part of Sheikh Abdullah’s official visit to Prague, covered topics including how to strengthen mutual collaboration and bilateral ties.
The two ministers examined ways to advance economic, investment, and development ties between the UAE and the Czech Republic in a way that benefits both nations and their respective populations.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed praised the ongoing growth in the two nations’ levels of cooperative engagement and emphasized that the UAE places a high value on fortifying its relations with the Czech Republic in a variety of areas.
The Czech Republic’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, for his part, expressed his nation’s desire to grow cooperative ties with the United Arab Emirates on a number of fronts and welcomed Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed and his delegation’s visit.
Jan Lipavský and H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed discussed the humanitarian consequences of recent developments in the Middle East, particularly in the Gaza Strip.
In order to defend civilian security and safety and to improve relief operations aimed at resolving the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the significance of uniting all regional and international efforts toward a durable truce.
In addition, he emphasized the critical need to safeguard civilian lives and step up humanitarian aid to Gaza in a manner that lessens the suffering of its citizens, as well as the significance of bolstering international cooperation to put an end to extremism, tension, and violence in the region.
Dr. Ghalia Ali Al Humaidan, the Charge d’Affaires of the UAE Embassy in the Czech Republic, and Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, were present at the meeting.
Jiří Kozák, the Czech Republic’s deputy minister of foreign affairs, was also present at the meeting.
