Sharjah: The Individual Games Department at the Sharjah Sports Club (SSC) has celebrated the karate and judo players on the occasion of concluding its summer program.
“The Future of Karate and Judo in the UAE,” held in the summer with the participation of 113 national players, from 6 to 14 years old, over two months.
The camp took place at the Sharjah Club gymnasium in Al Hazana and attracted a significant number of national players. The technical staff for both games actively participated in the camp training, alongside members of the men’s teams, with a focus on preparing them for future leadership roles in the technical aspects of the games.
During the ceremony, Mr. Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the SSC, emphasized the harmony and coordination among the Emirate’s clubs’ administrations. He mentioned that the Council’s plans were inspired by the directives of Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The Chairman praised the excellent work the Sharjah Club is doing for the individual games.

Mr. Al Hazami expressed the SSC’s delight in seeing parents attend, which indicates the program’s success and affirms the benefits their children have gained. He hopes that programs aligned with the vision of the Ruler of Sharjah will continue to make good use of young people’s time.
The closing ceremony of the summer program was attended by Mr. Al Hazami, Major General Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razouqi, President of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations, First Vice President of the International Karate Federation, Mr. Mohammed Jassim, Assistant Secretary-General of the UAE Judo Federation, and several guests, players, and parents.
