Sharjah: The Sharjah Directorate of Human Resources (SDHR) has organized Strategic Orientation Program for the growth of government services. The training program so far has guided two groups and will continue until the end of November 2023, with 42 government officials at the Sharjah Holy Quran Academy.
The program seeks to equip leaders for innovation and development activities inside government organizations that match the UAE’s vision and strategy for government services in the future. It further focuses on matching government service development plans in the Emirate of Sharjah with future ambitions.
The program consists of four main pillars: future readiness and digital empowerment, government excellence and best practices in government services, innovation and preemptive service design, and managing and developing the customer experience journey.
According to Mr. Walid Abdul Al-Latif, Government Innovation Consultant and Expert in Service Design and Future Work Systems, participants leave the program with a significant number of development recommendations and initiatives to implement within their respective government departments.
In addition, the participants will discuss current best practices in Sharjah, as well as continuing success stories and initiatives, in order to achieve a clear picture of the best methods of producing comprehensive and distinctive government services.
The Directorate is committed to implementing all development and improvement initiatives that increase the quality of government work, as well as utilizing newest tools and regulations that move government services towards greater competitiveness.
