A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse is a phenomenon that occurs when the Moon moves through the outer part of the Earth’s shadow during its orbit around the Earth, while the Earth is positioned between the Sun and the Moon. This causes a slight dimming of the Moon’s surface, creating a fascinating astronomical event.
From 8 PM to 10 PM, there will be an event featuring various night sky activities centered around the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. The event will commence with an introductory lecture aimed at helping visitors comprehend the scientific principles underlying the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse. Following the lecture, visitors will have the chance to engage in night sky activities, including observing the moon and planets through advanced state-of-the-art telescopes. Additionally, visitors will be able to experience a naked-eye observation of the Lunar Eclipse once the activities have concluded.
At the center, visitors will have the opportunity to observe the Moon, planets, and other celestial objects through advanced telescopes. The guides at the center are renowned for their extensive astronomical knowledge and expertise.
