Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Sports Council (ADSC) has opened the age group entries for the World Triathlon Championship Series. The event will take place from March 8 to 9, 2024, at Yas Marina Circuit, Yas Island.
The emirate will host the global event for the ninth year and will include multiple triathlon and single discipline race distance options, attracting amateurs, juniors, seasoned triathletes, and the People of Determination.
Mr. Aref Alawani, General Secretary of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, shared that “we are thrilled to host the World Triathlon Championship Series, and we expect to see an enthusiastic response from both competitors and spectators. It is always an honor to bear witness to such sportsmanship of the highest caliber. In particular, we look forward to welcoming those new to triathlons with our attractive offers for newcomers and amateurs.”
“We hope that your first time in the competition is an enjoyable experience. We also wish the best of luck to all our other competitors,” the General Secretary added.
