Abu Dhabi: The UAE has sent relief packages for women and children living in Gaza (Operation Chivalrous Knight 3) as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts on behalf of the Palestinian people,
The Emirates Red Crescent’s (ERC) Secretary-General, Hamoud Abdullah Al Junaibi, reported on the continuous efforts under “Operation Chivalrous Knight 3” to put together relief packages tailored to the needs of women and children. These assistance packages are an essential element of the daily food supply and humanitarian relief operations that are sent to the Gaza Strip, with an emphasis on the northern area.
Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Junaibi said that, “The distribution of these food baskets is part of the holistic relief endeavors initiated by the UAE to deliver humanitarian assistance to Gaza. This is facilitated either through airdrop operations or via UAE aid convoys entering through the Rafah Border Crossing.”
Al Junaibi reaffirmed that the UAE is committed to providing vital food supplies and aid to all Palestinians, especially women and children. He emphasized that these specialized help packages are given in addition to extensive relief operations that comprise a variety of basic supplies.
The noteworthy donations to Gaza demonstrate the UAE’s worldwide leadership in humanitarian endeavors and are in line with the wise leadership’s orders to support the Palestinian people during this difficult time.
Al Junaibi said that arrangements are being made to give Gaza residents garments for Eid, highlighting the tight collaboration between the ERC and other pertinent state agencies in providing the ongoing humanitarian aid that the Palestinian people require.
