Ajman: The Private Education Coordination Office and the Ajman Transport Authority have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation and establish a collaborative partnership, aligning the education and transportation sectors in the Emirate of Ajman.
The agreement is a crucial step towards achieving the Emirate’s vision of improving education quality, enhancing student transportation services, and realising future objectives.
The MoU aims to establish a balanced and robust relationship between the two parties, focusing on enhancing the seamless transfer of students between educational institutions and facilities within Ajman. To facilitate this, a joint committee will be formed in accordance with the terms of the MoU. This committee will promote the exchange of vital information and data, as well as organise workshops and introductory training programs for personnel involved in student transfers.
Mr. Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director-General of the Private Education Coordination Office in Ajman, emphasised the close collaboration between government sectors in Ajman and their shared commitment to improving education quality and school transportation services.
Mr. Omar Mohammed Lootah, Director-General of the Ajman Transport Authority, expressed the organisation’s strong commitment to fostering collaboration and harmonisation among governmental entities and institutions.
Mr. Lootah noted that the agreement seeks to facilitate cooperation to ensure the utmost safety and security during the transportation of private school students in Ajman.
The MoU further includes the exchange of expertise and advanced technologies across various domains, as well as the provision of mutual advisory services and collaborative assistance. Through this partnership, both entities aim to foster fruitful consultations and effective cooperation to enhance the services provided and achieve shared objectives in Ajman.
