Sharjah: The new visual identity for Sharjah Summer Promotions 2024 has been unveiled by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA), with the tagline “Get set for a summer brimming with discounts and adventures.”
The event, which is scheduled to take place throughout Sharjah from July 1 to September 1st, is being organized in association with the Chamber’s Shopping Malls Sector Business Group and in cooperation with a number of relevant emirate government agencies.
This declaration was made at a press conference to reveal the main highlights of the festival’s 21st edition that took place on Thursday at SCCI’s headquarters.

The heads of the SCCI and SCTDA, Abdallah Sultan Al Owais and Khalid Jasim Al Midfa, respectively, and several Sharjah government officials were present at the press conference.
The two-month celebrations is jam-packed with bargains and massive discounts on a wide range of goods from well-known domestic and international brands, hotel specials, and first-ever travel packages that include free activities at popular tourist destinations in the emirate.
In addition, there will be raffles and competitions for a shopping voucher, thirty gold bars, and an opulent Infiniti QX50 automobile. Retail establishments, shopping malls, and primary marketplaces all around Sharjah have carefully chosen presents and prizes for their patrons.

According to Al Owais, the “Sharjah Summer Promotions” are among the biggest happenings in the UAE and the surrounding area. Over the previous 21 years, the event has effectively established itself as a key component in reviving Sharjah’s commercial, tourism, and economic activities.
For his part, Al Midfa said, “We are confident that the new visual brand identity will have a great impact on boosting tourism and retail sectors in the emirate, which welcomed over 450,000 visitors last summer alone. The new campaign will drive the growth of the tourism sector, increase its contribution to the national economy, and provide visitors with a more inclusive and enriching experience this season.”
In partnership with SCTDA, the Sharjah Chamber is awarding up to AED 3 million ($810,000) in awards for the 2024 season this year.

This year’s event features deals at 11 well-known tourist attractions in addition to more than 20 varied hotel packages from 16 participating hotel companies. There are seventy summer options in all, including workshops, summer camps, and entertainment events.
The summer celebrations also include festivals, marine activities in Khorfakkan, workshops, and weekly summer and entertainment programs for kids. In addition, there will be a lot of marketing going on, with malls giving discounts of up to 75 percent and valuable prizes for participating in different draws.
The occasion will mark the beginning of the “Back to School Campaign,” which runs from August 19 to September 1 and provides significant savings on a variety of school supplies of up to 85 percent.
