Dubai: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce, one of the three chambers under Dubai Chambers, has announced the creation of the Colombian Business Council. The new council aims to strengthen trade and investment relations between Dubai and Colombia, creating more opportunities for private-sector companies in both regions.
The first annual general meeting of the council was recently hosted at Dubai Chambers, where participants identified key priorities and discussed upcoming plans and events. The Business Councils operating under the umbrella of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce represent the interests of companies and investors from markets of strategic importance to Dubai. They play a vital role in opening new channels of economic cooperation with global business communities and advancing the interests of investors operating in Dubai from the represented countries.
Aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), the chamber is working to increase the number of country-specific Business Councils. This initiative aims to promote Dubai’s foreign trade and support the expansion of local companies into global markets.
