Abu Dhabi: The Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities (MBZUH) has concluded the Poet of Nabdh Al Falah competition, held in collaboration with the Municipal Community Center and Nabd Al Falah community hub.
The contest, which attracted 40 student participants, saw 11 emerging as prize winners. It formed part of a specialized training workshop on the fundamentals of Arabic poetry, designed to encourage creativity, preserve cultural identity, and nurture emerging literary talents within the local community.

The initiative focused on strengthening appreciation for the Arabic language through both classical and Nabati poetry. It also provided young participants with the tools to connect with their heritage while developing skills in writing, recitation, and literary criticism.
Through interactive and practical sessions, the workshop empowered students to express themselves artistically, refine their craft, and explore the richness of Arabic literary traditions.
University representatives highlighted that the program not only celebrated young talent but also reinforced the institution’s commitment to cultural engagement.
