Dubai: Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, the 10th edition of the Emirati Media Forum will be held on October 28, at the Museum of the Future in Dubai.
Organized by the Dubai Press Club, the forum will convene heads of UAE media organizations, editors-in-chief, opinion leaders, and media professionals, alongside Emirati content creators and digital influencers. The event continues to serve as a vital platform for dialogue, collaboration, and innovation in the country’s media sector.
Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), will deliver the keynote speech titled ‘Our True Narrative… Our Message to the World.’ The address will focus on the role of Emirati media in promoting the UAE’s values, identity, and global reputation.

The forum will celebrate the achievements of Emirati media across print, broadcast, audio, and digital platforms, acknowledging their contribution to the nation’s development journey.
This commitment aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Throughout the sessions, the Emirati Media Forum will explore key developments in the UAE’s media landscape, identify opportunities for growth, and highlight the role of technology in shaping the industry’s future.
Discussions will also address the emergence of new media sectors such as film production and electronic gaming, which are central to Dubai’s vision of becoming a leading hub for the global creative economy.

The forum will further explore the importance of building a strong and competitive media sector founded on responsible freedom, sustainability, and innovation. Participants will also discuss the evolution of media legislation and regulatory frameworks designed to ensure credibility and transparency while fostering creative expression.
A special open panel will bring together senior media figures and intellectuals to discuss future trends, technological needs, and the development of professional skills across the sector.
Since its launch in 2013, the Emirati Media Forum has played a pivotal role in enhancing professional standards and collaboration across the UAE’s media landscape.
