Abu Dhabi: Borouge and ROX Motor have announced a major step forward in their collaboration, confirming that Borouge’s advanced lightweight polyolefin materials will be integrated into 17 components of the ADAMAS SUV, the new global flagship model from ROX Motor.
The partnership supports the UAE’s growing ambition to localize high-value manufacturing and promote sustainable mobility solutions. The announcement builds on the cooperation unveiled earlier this year at the ‘Make it in the Emirates’ forum, with the initiative supported by the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
The move aligns with national efforts to strengthen the UAE’s industrial base and accelerate the development of a future-ready automotive ecosystem. According to Borouge, its innovative materials are engineered to reduce vehicle weight, improve energy efficiency, and enhance recyclability, all critical factors as global markets increasingly shift toward cleaner, more sustainable automotive technologies.

Earlier this year, Borouge and ROX Motor also inaugurated a joint innovation laboratory in Shanghai, dedicated to advancing R&D in polyolefin-based solutions, lightweight mobility, and sustainable design for next-generation vehicles.
Hazeem Sultan Al Suwaidi, CEO of Borouge, said the partnership highlights the company’s pivotal role in supporting national industrial growth.
