Abu Dhabi: Mr. Lovemore Mazemo, the Ambassador of Zimbabwe to the UAE, has stated that, “This is a place for dreamers, and when ideas are thrown out there, we have actually witnessed that the UAE runs with these ideas, and they become a reality,” highlighting the UAE as a nation that fosters ambition and turns ideas into real outcomes.
The Ambassador of Zimbabwe made this comment on the second day of the 1st Global Media Congress (GMC), which is taking place in Abu Dhabi through November 17th.
Ambassador Mazemo stated that the media is critical in all nations because it teaches, informs, and entertains the public. Media institutions also exert influence as opinion leaders.
Ambassador Mazemo emphasized the GMC’s importance in the world since it brings together government decision-makers and media experts who can shape the industry and comprehend the impact of media on all demographic groups in society, including youth and parents, and governments. It also helps to publicize their policies and developmental journeys, the industry that wants to highlight investment opportunities, and traders that want to highlight their goods and services.
The Ambassador of Zimbabwe added that the event allows them to network with decision-makers from different administrations, address their needs as a nation in the media sector, and promote investment opportunities in Zimbabwe’s media industry.
Ambassador Mazemo expressed their pleasure at participating in this event, which was organized by the UAE, calling it a premier nation that has made significant progress.
It is a great opportunity for us to interact with the UAE and other guests that the UAE has invited to this global conference, which is the first of its kind.
