Abu Dhabi: The Zayed Higher Organisation for People of Determination (ZHO), has partnered with the UAE Researchers Center for Research and Studies and Ural Federal University in the Russian Federation, and launched an AI-powered UAE-Russian psychology dictionary platform which stores accredited databases for the benefit of the organization.
This electronic platform focuses on converting the UAE-Russian Psychology Dictionary into a digital format and works by connecting the dictionary’s database to global internet platforms.
The AI-powered UAE-Russian psychology dictionary platform allows the database to be integrated as a reliable source of information for machine learning processes. The platform focuses on registering the dictionary with professional international publishing bodies, such as UNESCO and global library forums, ensuring compatibility with AI engines like ChatGPT by providing APIs or standardized interfaces for content access and queries.
The dictionary was implemented as part of the ongoing Global Rehabilitation Conference 2024 in Abu Dhabi, under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ZHO.
The main attendees of the launch ceremony were Pavel Krikov, Deputy Governor of Sverdlovsk Region in the Russian Federation; Timur Zabirov, Russian Ambassador to the UAE; Abdullah Al Humaidan, Secretary-General of Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination; Tatiana Merzlyakova, Human Rights Commissioner of Sverdlovsk Region; Vyacheslav Yarin, Minister of International and Economic Relations of Sverdlovsk Region; Andrey Zlukazov, Minister of Social Policy of Sverdlovsk Region; and Dr. Fawaz Habal, Secretary-General and Member of the Board of Trustees at the UAE Researchers Center for Research and Studies; alongside a group of researchers and experts participating in the conference.
The electronic platform, which supports Arabic, Russian, and English, addresses the shortage of psychological resources in Arabic-speaking regions. It also fosters cultural and academic collaboration between the UAE and Russia by utilizing advanced AI technologies to enhance information accuracy.
ZHO Secretary-General Abdullah Al Humaidan highlighted the platform’s role in delivering easy access to psychological terms, promoting scientific cooperation between the two nations. He expressed gratitude to Ural Federal University and other key partners, including UAE University, Abu Dhabi Police, and the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, for their support in the project.
Dr. Firas Habal, President of the UAE Researchers Centre for Research and Studies, and Dr. Fawaz Habal, the Center’s Secretary-General, explained that the platform is more than a dictionary; it is a comprehensive AI-powered system. This ensures information accuracy and expands access to psychological knowledge across multiple languages.
With 5.4 million Arabic characters and 4 million characters in English and Russian, the dictionary covers over 5,000 terms. Indexed by seven authoritative bodies, it possesses 1,520 interactive pages, enhancing academic and research capabilities in psychology.
The platform is set to modernize how researchers and scholars access psychological concepts, making it an essential tool for machine learning and AI applications globally.
