Ajman: ‘Winter Clothes for Students’, an initiative by the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility (Ajman CSR) has been executed in collaboration with the Manar Al-Iman Charitable Foundation and the Ajman-based Socks Factory.
Ajman CSR, an affiliate of the Ajman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has launched this campaign as part of its efforts to promote social responsibility and raise awareness about its importance and key principles. The initiative strives to highlight the role that private companies can play and the kind of programs and initiatives they can implement to support public benefit institutions and the community as a whole, as well as to ensure sustainability.
Commenting on the initiative, Mr. Nasser Al Dhafri, CEO of the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility, praised the continuous association from both public benefit institutions and the private sector, which has helped promote a culture of social responsibility, paving the way for impactful initiatives.
The Ajman CSR CEO further thanked the Manar Al-Iman Charitable Foundation for implementing the initiative, and the Socks Factory for its consistent contributions to charitable programs that serve the public and promote community work in the Emirate of Ajman. Mr. Al Dhafri also urged other establishments and companies to broaden their efforts and participate in social responsibility initiatives, which would help ensure their sustainability and strengthen their relations with the local community.
Sharing is remarks on the initiative, His Excellency Nasser bin Ali Al Junaibi, Executive Director of the Manar Al-Iman Charitable Foundation, observed that, “The Foundation is always dedicated to strengthening collaboration with all state institutions, and to building partnership with government and private entities, in line with the national vision of the UAE and its wise leadership. We appreciate the great efforts that the Ajman Center for Social Responsibility has undertaken with the ‘Winter Clothes for Students’ initiative, in collaboration with Manar Al-Iman Charitable Foundation. Such initiatives instil the values of charity, generosity, collaboration, and social solidarity.”
Through the collaboration, Socks Factory, located in the Ajman Free Zone will provide 8,500+ items of winter clothing to be distributed to eligible students, in accordance with Permit No. (1/273/2021) from the Ajman Coordinating Council for Charity Work.
Whereas, the Manar Al-Iman Charitable Foundation, which plays a notable social and charitable role will support education, where the total number of student beneficiaries over the past years exceeded 42,000 male and female students from 39 nationalities.
