Abu Dhabi: Starting tomorrow, September 1, petrol and diesel prices will decrease in the UAE. The Fuel Price Monitoring Committee has decided to reduce petrol prices by 15 fils per litre and diesel by 17 fils per litre compared to August. The new prices, effective from tomorrow (Sunday), will be as follows:
- Super 98 petrol: 2.90 AED per litre (previously 3.05 AED)
- Special 95 petrol: 2.78 AED per litre (previously 2.93 AED)
- E-Plus 91 petrol: 2.71 AED per litre (previously 2.86 AED)
- Diesel: 2.78 AED per litre (previously 2.95 AED)
These adjustments are based on international oil price fluctuations. This fuel price reduction offers some relief amid rising costs for school fees, building rents, and goods.
