Dubai: The UAE will be represented by 22 male and female athletes from various People of Determination clubs in the 8th edition of the UAE Shooting Para Sport World Cup 2025, scheduled to take place at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting, and Golf Club from October 25 to November 5.
The national team has completed its final preparations to compete in the international championship, which features 43 events across pistol, air rifle, small-bore rifle (scoton), shotgun, and visually impaired shooting categories. The tournament will bring together 213 athletes from 37 countries, reflecting its global scale and competitiveness.
Thiban Al Muhairi, Secretary-General of the UAE Paralympic Committee, stated that hosting the eighth edition of the championship at Al Ain marks another milestone in international para sport. Al Muhairi noted that the UAE’s consistent participation and achievements in global shooting competitions demonstrate the progress of People of Determination and the country’s commitment to inclusivity and excellence.

Al Muhairi added that the event continues to showcase the UAE’s efforts to support athletes through strong leadership and world-class training. Al Muhairi emphasized that previous editions of the championship have produced remarkable results, strengthening the UAE’s standing as a regional leader in shooting sports for People of Determination.
