Sharjah: The UAE Schools and Nursery Show made its debut at Exhibition Centre Sharjah (ECS). The event is organized by ECS with assistance from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) and in collaboration with the Sharjah Private Education Authority, and it attracts notable private schools, educational centres, large institutions, and nurseries from around the nation (SPEA). It continues until February 26th.
Mr. Waleed Abdul Rahman Bukhatir, second vice chairman of the SCCI, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mulla, secretary-general of the Sharjah Education Council, and Mr. Ali Al-Hosani, director of the SPEA, officially opened the exhibition. Several board members from SCCI and ECS, government authorities, VIPs, and representatives from the sponsors and organising companies were also present for the inauguration.

They visited the exhibition and listened to explanations from representatives of educational institutions about the training and educational programs and scholarships they provide for the first time at such an event.
Mr. Bukhatir remarked that the UAE Schools and Nursery Show is part of SCCI’s efforts to enrich ECS’s events calendar with innovative and specialised exhibitions that contribute to boosting the educational development in the Emirate of Sharjah. Hence, the organisation of this event aims at keeping pace with the growth of the education sector in the emirate and enhancing its sustainability. The exhibition is an important opportunity for educational institutions to promote their programmes and educational services, in addition to exchanging expertise and experiences in accordance with international best practices, and establishing cooperation and partnerships that serve the education sector development.

Large crowds of people attended the International Education Show’s first day of activities to learn about the top schools and educational institutions in the nation and to check out the exhibitor’s offers, including scholarships and cutting-edge educational and training programs, most notably the after-school programs, services for centres for disabled children, and child development initiatives.
