Dubai: The UAE Media Council has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arte Museum, part of the Korean visual arts company “District,” to enhance collaboration in media content, training, and cultural promotion.
Key points of the agreement include providing media materials that meet the UAE’s Media Content Standards and granting Arte Museum permits for printing and distributing books on arts, applied sciences, and tourism.
Arte Museum will join the “Media Apprenticeship Programme,” aiming to train national talent in digital media and visual arts in partnership with experts and artists from South Korea and beyond.
Maitha Majed AlSuwaidi, CEO of Strategy and Media Policy at the UAE Media Council, stated, “This agreement marks a significant step in promoting public-private sector collaboration. Our partnership with Arte Museum will produce high-quality media content while adhering to local standards.”
Dany Samaha, General Director of Arte Museum, added, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the UAE Media Council. This partnership will enhance content ratings, auditing, and oversight, providing exceptional cultural and artistic experiences and reinforcing the UAE’s position as a leading cultural destination.”
Located in Dubai Mall, Arte Museum offers a blend of entertainment and interactive experiences across 2,800 square meters. Designed by District, the museum features 14 zones themed around “eternal nature,” allowing visitors to explore a fusion of art and modern technology through interactive installations and digital experiences.
