Dubai: The National CSR Fund, MAJRA, has unveiled the innovative MAJRA Impact Stream, a digital gateway designed to channel private sector contributions toward impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
Aligned with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) metrics and the UAE’s national priorities, this initiative aims to foster sustainable development and amplify positive societal impact.
Announced during a press conference, the MAJRA Impact Stream was introduced alongside the launch of the MAJRA Sustainable Impact Platform, a comprehensive toolset to guide private sector efforts in CSR.
The initiative also formalized partnerships with Dubai University, Umm Al Quwain University, and the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG). These collaborations will enrich the platform’s Knowledge Square with studies, articles, training programs, and specialized workshops, enhancing knowledge sharing and employee development in CSR practices.
Through the platform, private sector training hours will count as employee development credits, further embedding sustainable impact within corporate frameworks.
Abdullah Al Saleh, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Economy and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of MAJRA, emphasized that, “The launch of MAJRA Impact Stream marks a pivotal moment in advancing CSR principles and ESG practices, which are integral to our identity and heritage. This initiative empowers businesses to prioritize sustainability and contribute meaningfully to society, the environment, and the economy.”
Sarah Shaw, Director of MAJRA, underscored that, “With MAJRA Impact Stream, we aim to enhance trust and accountability in CSR and ESG activities across sectors. The platform unifies efforts, amplifies impact, and creates a collaborative space for sharing experiences and innovative ideas, driving transformative change.”
Built on four guiding principles – Listen, Unify, Magnify, and Certify – the MAJRA Impact Stream serves as a cornerstone of MAJRA’s strategy to strengthen CSR frameworks and position the UAE as a global leader in sustainable development.
By offering a platform for knowledge sharing, impact measurement, and inclusiveness, MAJRA is empowering the private sector to play a central role in advancing the nation’s sustainable development goals
