Dubai: The UAE Government has recently unveiled the “U-Ask” platform, an innovative AI-powered chatbot available on the official portal of the UAE Government.
This platform aims to provide citizens and residents with easy access to information about government services, available in both Arabic and English languages. By leveraging generative AI technology, the platform offers a unified and user-friendly experience, including service requirements, relevant information tailored to user preferences, and direct application links.
The Minister of State for Government Development and The Future, Ms. Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, who also chairs the Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation, expressed her enthusiasm about the platform. Ms. Al Roumi emphasized that U-Ask will play a pivotal role in advancing the government’s digital efforts, integrating and coordinating various projects, and improving system efficiency. The UAE Government is committed to constantly improving its digital infrastructure and systems to provide streamlined services that meet the evolving needs of its people.
Mr. Mohamed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services for the UAE Government, highlighted the platform’s flexibility and ease of use, enabling users to conveniently access government services. He stated that the UAE Government aims to enhance the user experience by providing a smoother and simpler process. As the UAE Government caters to diverse groups and sectors, both within and outside the country, this 24/7 information and support service marks another milestone in the UAE’s global leadership in delivering exceptional government services.
Developed in collaboration with Microsoft and PwC Middle East, the U-Ask platform was designed to address a wide range of inquiries and requests, ranging from simple information to more complex service inquiries. It offers comprehensive answers, including basic information and various methods to apply for services. Additionally, the platform employs personalized recommendations and suggestions based on users’ preferences and previous interactions, enhancing the overall user experience.
The launch of the U-Ask platform demonstrates the UAE Government’s commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide accessible and efficient government services.
