Dubai: Reiterating the robust bilateral relations between the two nations, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of France presided over the signing of numerous agreements and Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between the two countries, spread across multiple verticals.
The agreements, which are expected to boost the strategic partnership between the two countries to serve their mutual interests, include;
- An agreement between Mubadala and the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery, signed by Mr. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, CEO and Managing Director of Mubadala Investment Company and Mr. Bruno Le Maire, French Minister of Economy, Finance and Recovery.
- A deal between Mubadala and BPI France, signed by Mr. Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, CEO and Managing Director of Mubadala Investment Company and Mr. Nicolas Dufourcq, CEO of BPI France.
- An association between the UAE’s Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) and French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery, signed by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Mr. Bruno Le Maire, French Minister of Economy, Finance and Recovery.
- A collaboration agreement between ADNOC and TotalEnergies, signed by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Mr. Patrick Pouyanne, CEO of TotalEnergies.
- A pact between Borouge and Technip for construction of word-class ethane cracker unit as part of the Borouge 4 Expansion Project, signed by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Mr. Arnaud Pieton, CEO of Technip.
- A strategic alliance between Masdar-ENGIE, signed by Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Managing Director and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Chairman of Masdar, and Ms. Catherine MacGregor, CEO of ENGIE.
- A procurement agreement for aircrafts and associated products and services between the UAE’s Ministry of Defense and Dassault Aviation, signed by Mr. Tareq Abdulraheem Al Hosani, CEO of Tawazun Economic Council and Mr. Eric Trappier, CEO of Dassault Aviation.
- A Supply deal for Rafale Arms Equipment between the UAE’s Ministry of Defense and MBDA, signed by Mr. Tareq Abdulraheem Al Hosani, CEO of Tawazun Economic Council and Mr. Eric Beranger, CEO of MBDA.
- A H225M Helicopter Purchase deal between the UAE’s Ministry of Defense and Airbus Helicopters, signed by Mr. Tareq Abdulraheem Al Hosani, CEO of Tawazun Economic Council and Mr. Bruno Even, CEO of Airbus Helicopters.
- An MoU between ADQ, and French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Recovery, signed by Mr. Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi, CEO of ADQ and Mr. Bruno Le Maire, French Minister of Economy, Finance and Recovery.
- A UAE – France revision agreement on Louvre Abu Dhabi, signed by Mr. Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman, Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Ms. Roselyne Bachelot, French Minister of Culture.
- A Letter of Intent (LoI) on moon exploration between Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) and French National Space and Research Centre (CNES), signed by Mr. Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director General of MBRSC and Mr. Philippe Baptiste, President of the French National Space and Research Centre (CNES).
- An Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) and Electricitie De France (EDF) MoU, signed by Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al Hammadi, CEO of ENEC and Mr. Jean-Bernard Lévy, Chairman and CEO of EDF.
