Abu Dhabi: The UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan recently sat with Mr. Kasiviswanathan Shanmugam, Singapore’s Minister for Home Affairs and Minister of Law.
The engagement, which took place in Abu Dhabi, focused on enhancing the bilateral relations and partnership between the UAE and Singapore as well as exploring ways to expand the scope of future cooperation between the two countries.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed was pleased by Mr. K. Shanmugam’s visit and shared that he hoped the two countries would improve their relations for the benefit of their citizens.
Singapore’s Minister said that his country is eager to work more closely with the UAE in many areas. The Minister did this while acknowledging the UAE’s important role in the region and the world.
Others who were at the meeting included Mr. Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State, and Mr. Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Foreign Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
