Abu Dhabi: The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) of the UAE is partnering with Dubai-based govtech start-up 01Gov to support federal government employees with access to its platform.
01Gov’s is the 1st Arabic platform for government innovation. As per the MoU virtually signed by Mr. Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Acting Director-General of FAHR and 01Gov Founder and CEO, Mr. Ibrahim El Badawi, the start-up that offers a portfolio of digital solutions, will provide 100,000 free licenses to employees of various government domains.
Speaking on the occasion, Ms. Al Suwaidi remarked that association with 01Gov will focus on strengthening the efficiency of employees in ministries and federal entities and consolidating their culture of innovation.
According to Ms. Al Suwaidi, organizing innovation labs using best practices of virtual sessions is another field of partnership with 01Gov.
This includes using CoDesk, a dedicated platform to enable remote work and innovation developed by 01Gov and using 01Gov content about innovative practices in FAHR’s publications and research.
Meanwhile, Mr. El Badawi observed that the partnership will play a significant part in enhancing the employees’ capabilities at the professional and personal levels. It will also help building future skills, enabling digital transformation and accelerating innovation plans and organizational excellence.
01Gov provides a digital and daily-updated observatory of 3,000+ leading government sector practices and the Fourth Industrial Revolution trends. It also includes a rich set of government innovation tools, references, training programs, and educational resources. Other 01Gov services include virtual innovation labs and brainstorming sessions.
