Abu Dhabi – The UAE has made significant strides in solidifying its reputation as a ‘Nation of Talent,’ becoming one of the top countries with the highest concentration of skilled professionals, surpassing developed nations like the US and UK. The country has improved its position by five places, moving from 22nd to 17th globally.
This achievement places the UAE ahead of developed countries such as Canada, the US, France, and the UK. On the global stage, Switzerland, Singapore, and Luxembourg continue to lead in attracting talent. Additionally, the UAE has advanced by four positions, now ranking 12th in the list of countries most successful in attracting global talent.
The UAE’s appeal lies in its tax-free income and excellent job opportunities, making it a prime destination for professionals. Since 2020, the country has experienced remarkable growth. According to the World Talent Report 2024, the UAE maintains its position as the top Arab nation in this area.
The nation is also striving to become a knowledge- and innovation-driven economy over the next decade, focusing on attracting top talent and fostering innovation. UAE Minister Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing foreign investment partnerships to support these efforts.
Among other GCC countries, Kuwait ranks 31st, Saudi Arabia 32nd, Bahrain 40th, and Qatar 42nd in attracting talent.
