Beijing: The UAE Embassy in China has hosted a vibrant reception to commemorate the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, attracting high-profile participation from Chinese and international dignitaries.
Shohrat Zakir, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People’s Congress (NPC), attended the event alongside Hussein Ibrahim Al Hamadi, UAE Ambassador to China, embassy officials, and military attaches. Representatives from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Arab and foreign diplomatic missions, business leaders, media professionals, and UAE citizens studying in China also graced the occasion.

An accompanying exhibition showcased photographs and publications chronicling the UAE’s progress over the decades. A documentary screening further emphasized the nation’s achievements in various sectors.
Cultural performances by Emirati and Chinese folk troupes were a highlight of the event. The audience enjoyed traditional Emirati Yola dances and Chinese folkloric shows, symbolizing the deep cultural connections between the two nations. The celebration underscored the UAE’s commitment to strengthening ties with China and fostering mutual cultural understanding.
