Abu Dhabi: UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, received Mr. Isaac Herzog, President of Israel, who is currently on a UAE visit to attend the first edition of the Abu Dhabi Space Debate. The meeting was held at Al Shati Palace in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed discussed with Mr. Herzog bilateral cooperations and ways to boost regional peace, prosperity and development. Both leaders exchanged views over a number of issues of mutual concern.
The Abu Dhabi Space Debate, organised by the UAE Space Agency, and its role in fostering communication between powerful and active stakeholders in the space sector were also discussed in the meeting, along with strategies for growing this sector and attaining its objectives. The importance of developing bilateral collaboration in the space industry was emphasised by both presidents.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Advisor for Special Affairs in the Presidential Court, and Mohammed Mahmoud Al Khajah, Ambassador of the UAE to Israel.

The two-day conference has organized to form an important new global forum for the space industry, nations, business leaders and policymakers to come together and forge real consensus and address the issues facing growth and innovation in space. Abu Dhabi Space Debate has hosted representatives of the world’s fast-growing space industry together with the President of the United Arab Emirates, the President of Israel and the Prime Minister of India in its inaugural event.
