Abu Dhabi: TRENDS Research and Advisory held its First Annual Forum for 2025, focusing on “Youth Empowerment” to enhance the institutional work environment through quality, sustainability, and excellence.
The forum, which took place at TRENDS’ headquarters in Abu Dhabi, provided a platform for discussions on the center’s future goals and a review of its 2024 accomplishments.
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS, highlighted the center’s successful year, with major achievements in youth empowerment, leadership, and sustainability. He emphasized that TRENDS solidified its position as a global leader with its extensive international network of 17 offices, strategic partnerships, and influential presence in global forums.
Dr. Al-Ali also presented TRENDS’ strategic plan for 2025, which includes innovative research, training, advisory, and media initiatives. The plan aims to further enhance the center’s intellectual role and global influence through purposeful scientific research.
The forum also showcased the center’s recognition for outstanding performance, with awards for leadership and sustainability. TRENDS recognized several employees for their contributions toward achieving the Centre’s strategic goals.
Reflecting on 2024, TRENDS marked several notable accomplishments, including the UAE Labor Market Award, recognition as the Best Research Center at the British Parliament, and the opening of 17 international offices. The center forged 46 new research partnerships, published 277 studies, organized 226 global events (including six international conferences), and participated in 15 book fairs.
Additionally, TRENDS published 12 books as part of the Muslim Brotherhood Encyclopedia, translated into 15 languages, and launched 49 podcast episodes. With a 58% youth empowerment rate for Emirati researchers, TRENDS also organized 44 training programs and shared 7,950 knowledge reports on its platform.
