Dubai: Dubai Municipality has officially announced the return of the fourth season of Souq Al Freej, a flagship community initiative dedicated to supporting Emirati entrepreneurs, small business owners, and productive families.
The initiative provides free platforms for showcasing and promoting locally made products in a family-friendly, open-air environment. Registration for Emirati participants is now open.
This season, Souq Al Freej will take place across three of Dubai’s prominent parks: Al Warqa Park 3 from December 5 to 14, Al Barsha Pond Park from December 19 to 28, and Blossoms Park in Nad Al Sheba from January 2 to 11, 2026, building on the exceptional turnout of previous seasons.
Designed as a comprehensive community platform, Souq Al Freej offers integrated commercial opportunities for local entrepreneurs. Participants benefit from facilities that enhance competitiveness, enabling them to offer high-quality products at affordable prices while boosting public trust in locally made goods.

The market encourages direct interaction between vendors and shoppers, supporting entrepreneurs in promoting their businesses and expanding their customer reach. Beyond commerce, it provides a vibrant recreational space, fostering social connection and community engagement during Dubai’s winter season. The initiative aligns with Dubai Municipality’s broader vision of creating a liveable, high-quality city.
Visitors can enjoy a rich program of entertainment, cultural and artistic performances, interactive workshops, and dedicated children’s zones, ensuring engaging experiences for families, youth, and children.
A variety of food and beverage kiosks will enhance the lively atmosphere, while shoppers can explore an array of products ranging from handmade crafts and fashion to home-cooked foods and sustainable goods, creating a seamless blend of shopping, leisure, and culture.
Mohammed Ahli, Acting Director of the Public Parks and Recreational Facilities Department at Dubai Municipality, said that, “We are delighted to launch the fourth season of Souq Al Freej in a refreshed format, offering diverse activities and experiences that combine shopping and entertainment across three of Dubai’s distinguished parks.”

The Acting Director remarked that, “The expansion reflects our commitment to supporting small business owners, entrepreneurs, and productive families by providing comprehensive commercial platforms that build trust in local products, foster competitiveness, and promote business growth beyond the market season itself.”
“This initiative also reflects our vision of transforming public parks into sustainable community hubs, interactive, vibrant spaces that enhance the quality of life for residents and visitors. We anticipate strong participation from local entrepreneurs eager to showcase their products and welcome visitors to enjoy an exceptional winter community experience filled with entertainment, creativity, and meaningful social interaction,” Ahli added.
Emirati entrepreneurs and productive families can register to participate until 25 November 2025 via the Dubai Municipality’s official website. The event offers a valuable opportunity to reach a broad audience and be part of one of Dubai’s leading community initiatives.
The third season of Souq Al Freej drew over 282,000 visitors, underscoring its success as a distinguished platform that enhances Dubai’s appeal. The initiative reinforces the role of public parks as inclusive spaces for families and visitors, improving community well-being while supporting the growth of local businesses through stronger social engagement.
