Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre (SZGMC) has revealed that it has completed preparations and achieved highest level of readiness at Sheikh the Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Al Fujairah, and Sheikh Khalifa Grand Mosque in Al Ain to receive worshippers and visitors during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
HOLY PRAYERS
The Centre updated that ‘Taraweeh’, night prayers performed during Ramadan and Tahajjud at the grand mosques will be led by the Imams of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Idris Abkar, and Yahya Eishan.
The SZGMC will also host several honorable reciters, such as Raad Al Kurdi. Honorable reciters who are part of His Highness the UAE President’s guests program, Ahmed bin Ghanem Al Riyami, Muhammad Al Mishani, Rashid Ahmed Al-Arkani, Hamza Moaz Al-Abdul-Razzaq, Khalil Ibrahim, and Abdullah bin Salem Al-Saadi are also expected to take part at events organized by the Centre.
TIMINGS
The SZGMC is expected to share updates on the names of the reciters who will lead the Tarawih and Tahajjud prayers at the grand mosques at Abu Dhabi, Fujairah, and Al Ain.
In collaboration with the “Abu Dhabi Erth Hotel”, the Centre will prepare and distribute 30,000 iftar meals daily, taking into account the needs of those fasting, per the highest health and safety standards.
The meals will be distributed in direct coordination with the specialized economic zones “Zonescorp” throughout the Holy Month.
VISITING TIMES
The Sheikh the Zayed Grand Mosque remains open for visits throughout the month from Saturday to Thursday, between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and then from 09:30 PM to 01:00 AM.
On Fridays, the visiting times are limited from 03:00 PM to 06:00 PM and 09:30 PM to 01:00 AM.
The visiting hours for Tahajjued prayers during the last ten days of the month, end at 11:30 PM, every day of the week.
