Dubai: The Mohammed bin Rashid Government Excellence Award 2024 recognized outstanding achievements in government service and innovation during a prestigious ceremony attended by key UAE leaders.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum emphasized that government excellence is a deeply rooted culture in the UAE. HH stated that, “Excellence is not just a goal; it is a way of life in the UAE. It reflects the vision of the UAE President, to establish a government that not only meets ambitions but anticipates the future. Today, we celebrate achievements, but more importantly, we reaffirm that our journey of excellence knows no bounds.”
HH underlined the importance of innovation, declaring that it is an imperative for government operations and added that, “While we celebrate the winners today, we remind ourselves that this is not the finish line but the beginning of a new chapter in our pursuit of excellence.”

H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi
The Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council was honored for his leadership in aligning Ajman’s initiatives with the UAE’s national priorities. He introduced initiatives like “Ajman Vision 2021” and “Ajman Vision 2030,” fostering innovation and excellence in government services.
H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan
The Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of Etihad Rail was recognized for his leadership in transformative projects like the Etihad Rail and the “Emirates Villages” project, enhancing connectivity, tourism, and sustainable development.
