Dubai: H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Future Foundation (DFF), has approved the next phase of the ‘Dubai Future Solutions – Prototypes for Humanity’ initiative. Overseen by H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture, this initiative aims to develop innovative prototypes and pilot models, delivering transformative solutions from Dubai to the world.
The initiative builds on the success of the ‘Prototypes for Humanity’ programme, advancing innovation to benefit humanity. A significant boost comes from a cooperation agreement with the Hussain Sajwani – DAMAC Foundation (HSDF), pledging AED 100 million to support innovation and technology in Dubai and the UAE.

- Strategic Partnership: The agreement between DFF and HSDF, signed by Khalfan Belhoul (CEO of DFF) and Hussain Sajwani (Founder and Chairman of DAMAC Properties), positions HSDF as a strategic partner.
- Platform for Innovators: The initiative aims to attract global innovations, including contributions from students, top universities, and international institutions, transforming ideas into impactful solutions.
- Support for Startups: The programme supports innovators and startups, enhancing job creation, investment opportunities, and market expansion, while aiding in patenting innovations and transitioning ideas into viable companies.
- Annual Event: An annual event at the Dubai Future District will showcase the top 100 innovations from the initiative, with the best being honoured during the ceremony.

This launch continues the legacy of ‘Prototypes for Humanity’, which has showcased hundreds of innovative projects from over 10,000 applications submitted by students from more than 700 universities worldwide, supported by Dubai Culture, DIFC, A.R.M Holding, and the Investment Corporation of Dubai.
