Sharjah: In an attempt to revitalize the lives of the citizens in the Emirate, the Sharjah Debt Settlement Committee (SDSC) has approved a sum of $14.05 million towards the settlement of 131 cases of debts owned by citizens which were presented to the authority for consideration.
The recent move by the authority is in line with the directives of H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, aimed at providing a stable and decent life for the citizens.
Commenting on the SDSC move, Mr. Rashid Ahmed bin Al Sheikh, Chief of the Sharjah Emiri Court and Head of the Committee, confirmed that the committee has approved, within the 21st batch, the payment of the debts of people from various categories, amounting to $14.05 million.

The Chief of the Sharjah Emiri Court and Head of the Committee further added that as much as 1,707 citizens have benefited from the Committee’s debt repayment process so far, amounting to $228,255,409 in debts being processed and settled.
