Sharjah: The Sharjah Old Cars Club (SOCC) has announced an ambitious five-year strategic plan to establish itself as a global leader in the vintage car industry. The plan focuses on preserving automotive heritage, fostering enthusiasm for vintage cars, and positioning Sharjah as a global hub for enthusiasts.
Strategy include:
- Community Happiness: SOCC aims to achieve 100% customer happiness through enhanced service quality, efficiency, and a unified platform for easy access to services.
- Heritage Preservation: The club is dedicated to preserving the cultural significance of vintage cars by integrating innovation and creativity into its work. It plans to organize events and competitions that celebrate vintage car culture and pass it on to future generations.
- Innovation and Creativity: SOCC is committed to digital transformation, aiming for 100% digitization of its services for increased efficiency and accessibility. The club also plans to attract global expertise to nurture young Emirati leaders in the field.
Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al-Zoud, President of Sharjah Old Cars Club, stated that the new strategy aligns with the vision of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, who views vintage cars as historical and cultural artifacts.
SOCC’s strategy is in line with the Sharjah Sports Council’s goal of making community sports a lifestyle and ensuring excellence in the emirate’s sports institutions. The club plans to develop attractive sports infrastructure and host events and activities to promote investment, sports tourism, and entertainment. It also aims to create a global platform to monitor challenges, anticipate future trends, and ensure the governance of sports activities.
The club’s ultimate goal is to discover and nurture talent, create Olympian athletes, and achieve sporting accomplishments while meeting global health and safety standards.
