Sharjah: The 9th Sharjah International Travel and Tourism Forum (SITTF), with the theme “Building a Resilient Future for Tourism,” is set to begin on 24th November, 2022, at the Sharjah Expo Centre.
The forum, which is being held under the supervision of Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and Chairman of the Sharjah Executive Council, will bring together a variety of government representatives, local and foreign decision-makers, and specialists in the fields of travel, tourism, and aviation, hospitality entrepreneurs, tour operators, and social media content creators for the travel industry.
The forum is organized by Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority (SCTDA) and supports its initiatives to strengthen Sharjah’s position on the world tourism map and gives travel and tourism organizations the chance to learn about best practices and innovative solutions in the sector.
Three lectures and three panel discussions on constructing a sustainable future for tourism will be held at SITTF.
The seminars will focus on the competitive capabilities of developing destinations in line with worldwide standards, best practices, and global expertise. They will also inspire the hospitality industry to become more inventive and creative.
Other important issues in the spotlight are the challenges faced by the tourism industry and the expanding economic sector. The introduction of advanced technologies and various smart choices that will promote the development and sustainability of the industry will also be discussed.
