Sharjah: The Education Council in Sharjah (SEC) and King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity (Mawhiba) are entering into a partnership to identify bright students and strengthen the talent and creativity system.
Dr. Amal Al-Hazaa, Secretary-General of the Mawhiba Foundation, and Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council signed the contract to formalize the deal.
Dr. Saeed Musabah Al Kaabi, the Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council, emphasized the significance of the collaboration with Mawhiba and stressed how it helps to empower the talented in Sharjah and the UAE. The SEC Chairman also praised the prudent strategic vision in the country’s support of gifted and talented students.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Amal Al-Hazaa acknowledged her satisfaction with the agreement, which improves the sharing of experiences between the two parties. The Mawhiba Foundation Secretary-General also commended the Council for its active involvement in raising educational standards in the Emirate of Sharjah through numerous educational plans, initiatives, and activities.
In accordance with the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding, the two parties will work together to identify gifted students in Sharjah and the UAE, care for them through a variety of initiatives, capitalize on their combined skills and experiences, and consult on academic matters.

Mawhiba is a non-profit endowment organization focused on identifying and fostering talented individuals. Meanwhile, the Sharjah Education Council seeks to create an aware youth who abides by its principles through continuous development of the educational system in a framework of competition and innovation and rendering renowned services to society.
