Sharjah: Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi recently presided the Graduation Ceremony of the female students of the University from the Faculties of Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences, Communication, and Law.
Speaking to the new graduates at the event organized at the University City Hall in Sharjah, the UoS President reiterated that the university aspires to enhance its prestigious scientific position among the universities of the world, and to continue providing the best scientific and academic programs that are reflected in societies and nations.
When H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, established this university, his eye was on the moments in which he will witness the graduates a university degree that has attained a prestigious scientific position among the universities of the world, and here we are today with the efforts of everyone is striving to continue the process and build on the numbers achieved at the local, regional and international levels.
H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi remarked during his graduation ceremony address.
‘I invite each of you to be proud of yourself, your certificate, and your university, and to be keen to continue receiving science and knowledge, and to develop skills in various fields,‘ Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed advised the graduates.
In conclusion to his speech, the Deputy Ruler of Sharjah expressed his gratitude to the university’s administration and faculty members for their efforts in rehabilitating female students and instilling the values of science, culture and knowledge in them.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Chancellor of the University, thanked H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi for honoring the graduation of female students. Dr. Al Nuaimi also took the opportunity to appreciate everyone who contributed to the education of this new batch of university students.
The UoS Chancellor voiced the university’s pride and happiness in graduating a group of young women who will go to the fields of work that the university has prepared for them according to the best sciences, knowledge and skills, and using the best methods, means and educational methods adopted by the university.
During the award ceremony, Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi handed over certificates to the 403 graduates from the Faculties of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, Communication and Law.
