Sharjah: The Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB) has announced the shortlist for the Sharjah Government Communication Award (SGCA 2024). This year, 46 candidates from 12 countries will compete across 22 awards in five categories. The SGCA received a record 3,815 submissions, a 230 percent increase from last year, with 1,129 submissions from 44 countries.
The shortlisted entries will compete in categories for government entities, international organizations, the private sector, individual awards, challenge and competition awards, Jury Awards, and Partner Awards.
This year’s entries were notable for their quality and innovation, especially from the private sector. The award’s global reach expanded, attracting first-time entries from several countries, reflecting its growing appeal.
Since its inception, SGCA has established itself as a global platform celebrating creativity and excellence in government communication, aiming to inspire and advance the field while supporting sustainable development.
