Abu Dhabi: Department of Health (DoH) Abu Dhabi has launched the ‘Sahatna’ app that serves as a unified and integrated platform, allowing users to manage their health affairs by facilitating access to a wide range of healthcare services.

The app enables users to schedule and manage appointments while offering the option to communicate with healthcare providers either in person or via remote consultations. Users can oversee their health and that of family members.
To access medical records, users can utilize the Malaffi platform, which provides information on tests, medications, and vaccination records. This platform is also integrated with the health files of family members.

AI-Powered Symptom Checker: Users can enter their symptoms to identify potential health conditions and receive guidance on whether they should seek emergency care or visit an urgent care facility.
Malaffi Integration: The app connects to the Malaffi platform, enabling users to access their medical records, including test results, medications, and vaccination history. It also links to family members’ health files.
Wearable Device Compatibility: The app supports connectivity with smartwatches, allowing users to track their sleep patterns and physical activity, helping them set and achieve personal health goals.
Genomic Reports Access: Participants in the Emirates Genome Program can access their genomic reports through the app, empowering them to make informed health decisions based on their genetic data.
The authorities plan to introduce additional advanced features, such as an AI-based model for maintaining health and an enhanced patient assistance system to facilitate navigation within the app.
