Abu Dhabi: The General Women’s Union, the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and PureHealth have announced the third edition of the Remarkable Emirati Women event. The celebration will take place on November 12, 2025, at St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi.
The event will be held under the esteemed patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and Mother of the Nation.
Under the theme ‘Unleash Your Impact,’ this year’s edition highlights how Emirati women are transforming empowerment into tangible, community-driven change. The event reinforces the UAE’s commitment to advancing women’s leadership and recognises Emirati women as vital contributors to national progress across every field.
Her Excellency Noura Al Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the General Women’s Union, said that, “The Remarkable Emirati Women Summit reflects the wise vision of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, in empowering Emirati women and enabling them to be active partners in shaping the country’s future and prosperity.”
“Through Her Highness’s unwavering support, Emirati women have become a global model of ambition, leadership and social contribution – turning positive impact into tangible achievements that advance sustainable development,” Al Suwaidi added.
The Secretary-General noted that, “At the General Women’s Union, we are committed to showcasing the success stories of Emirati women and celebrating those who embody the values of leadership, innovation and social responsibility that Her Highness has inspired throughout the nation’s remarkable journey.”
Bringing together over 600 influential women and men, the 2025 edition will feature a full day of talks, panel discussions, masterclasses, and mindfulness sessions aimed at fostering dialogue, collaboration, and inspiration among changemakers driving the UAE’s ongoing growth and innovation.

A key highlight will be the graduation of the second cohort of the Emirati Women Chapter, launched in 2024 in partnership with the GWU to empower women across sectors. Founded by five Emirati women leaders, the chapter continues to provide mentorship and professional growth opportunities.
Since its inception, the Remarkable Emirati Women initiative has evolved into a national movement celebrating Emirati women’s achievements and contributions to society.
The 2025 edition stands as a tribute to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak’s enduring leadership and her lifelong mission to position Emirati women as equal partners in the UAE’s journey of development and prosperity.
