Ras Al Khaimah: The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority (RAKTDA) has been quoted as a winner in the small company category of the ‘Best Workplaces for Women- GCC 2024’ list, rewarded by the Great Place to Work organization. This honor highlights RAKTDA’s commitment to encouraging a gender-equitable workplace that entrusts all employees.
The ‘Best Workplaces for Women’ recognition is a testament to RAKTDA’s commitment to promoting career growth and leadership possibilities for women. The award follows other notable accomplishments this year, including being permitted as a Great Place to Work for the fourth consecutive year and securing a spot on the prestigious ‘Best Workplaces in the Middle East 2024’ list.
RAKTDA’s team is made up of over 80 employees from 27 nationalities, with an almost equal gender split of 43 women and 39 men. Women occupy five of the 10 leadership positions within the organization, bearing senior positions such as Vice President of Marketing & Communications, Director of Government Relations & Events, Vice President of Finance & Corporate Services, and more.
