Abu Dhabi: Mubadala Health has launched a Pilot Program in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority (ECA) to encourage parents across Abu Dhabi as a part of its ongoing commitment to protect and promote the Physical and Mental Health of parents and children.
The Program concentrates on Community Awareness and Child Development Knowledge and is a crucial element of the Abu Dhabi Integrated Early Childhood Intervention System Framework.
The Program also focuses on the needs and rights of all children in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, along with encouraging positive outputs for children by educating parents on how they can support their children in achieving the greatest developmental outcomes.
The scheme will take advantage of the National Vaccination Schedule to spread awareness about any developmental issues and the relevance of early intervention. It will also track developmental progress for the appropriate age range and encourage parents who have concerns about their children’s development to seek help as soon as possible.
The second phase of the initiative will see the opening of a Child Healthline run by the Mubadala Health Partner Abu Dhabi Telemedicine Center. The helpline will provide immediate support to parents or caregivers who have concerns about their child’s development by offering them the necessary healthcare services.
Additionally, parents will be given the resources they need to promote their child’s growth and boost awareness of their child’s changing developmental requirements.
