Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and the Abu Dhabi Music & Arts Foundation (ADMAF) have reaffirmed their commitment to cultural diplomacy by renewing their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, and Huda Al Khamis-Kanoo, Founder of ADMAF and Artistic Director of the Abu Dhabi Festival, signed the agreement, emphasizing their shared mission to boost the UAE’s global cultural presence.
The renewed MoU continues the partnership between both organizations to advance the UAE’s leadership in arts and culture, building upon the original agreement signed in March 2018.
Al Kaabi stated, “The UAE is committed to promoting dialogue, friendship, and cooperation with nations worldwide while showcasing our nation’s rich heritage, values, and artistic achievements through joint initiatives. This renewed commitment between MoFA and ADMAF supports the UAE’s leadership in promoting openness, peace, and international cooperation, while reinforcing our rich heritage and contemporary artistic contributions.”
Al Khamis-Kanoo added that, “Under the honorary founding patronage of H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Founding Honorary Patron of Abu Dhabi Festival, we continue our sustainable cultural journey. We thank the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic missions for their ongoing support of our programs abroad.”
Kanoo also emphasized, “Guided by the vision of our wise leadership, we contribute to enabling cultural diplomacy, strengthening the UAE’s global presence, and upholding the values of diversity and understanding through our strategic partnerships, which now include 37 partners from major institutions and festivals worldwide.”
This renewed MoU underscores the continued commitment of MoFA and ADMAF to enhancing the UAE’s cultural influence and fostering international cooperation through cultural exchange and diplomacy.
