Dubai: The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has launched Data Bridge, an innovative digital venture aimed at transforming the delivery of government services by developing seamless connections with entities within the Ministry’s operations.
Data Bridge formulates MoEI to offer proactive services, reducing the need for repeated data requests while allowing the real-time exchange of digital documents. As part of the federal government’s performance agreements for 2023-2024, this innovation represents an inevitable step towards reducing bureaucratic processes and improving service delivery.
The initiative is designed to organize customer service by cutting the number of required documents and boosting up transaction times. Data Bridge focuses on connecting MoEI with 50 government entities, achieving 100% digital integration, and reducing documentation requirements by half by the end of 2025. Additionally, the project targets a 90% customer satisfaction rate by reducing the number of times data needs to be submitted.
Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, hailed the project as a milestone in the digital transformation of the energy and infrastructure sectors. Al Mazrouei clarified the positive response that is soon to be reflected in the economy stating that, “The Data Bridge project is a turning point in allowing real-time access to information and enabling informed decision-making. With this project, we start a new era of collaboration and integration among concerned entities”.
Regarding the project’s success, MoEI has signed multiple agreements with government and private entities, declaring smooth integration of the new system with existing frameworks and enhancing interagency collaboration.
