UAE: The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has launched a new AI-powered chatbot on its website – “Ask MOEI,” designed to handle a wide range of public inquiries and service requests. The website offers quick, precise answers to all types of inquiries, from simple ones to more complex ones pertaining to services.
The chatbot, which was developed in partnership with the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), ensures real-time assistance 24X7, saving consumers time while obtaining important data and services.
In line with the “We the UAE 2031” vision, the initiative is a part of the ministry’s bigger plans that support digital transformation and enhance service delivery. The ministry is dedicated to boost the effectiveness and accessibility of its services for the general public by improving communication using cutting-edge technologies.
His Excellency Eng Fahad Al Hammadi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services Sector, said that, “The Ministry constantly takes new measures to improve the level of its services. These include revamping its website, upgrading mobile phone applications, and organizing a series of meetings and workshops with customers to get their feedback on how to offer better services. This is in line with the Government Services Development Guide 2.0 – a comprehensive resource that aims to support entities in the UAE to deliver integrated services.”
MoEI has worked relentlessly to upgrade its e-services to make them user-friendly, expedite processes, and reduce the need for visits to service centers.
