Abu Dhabi: Mawaheb Talent Hub, part of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, has hosted an Open Day for Employment in the Al Dhafra Region, providing a vital platform for Emirati professionals and fresh graduates to connect directly with employers.
The initiative has brought together more than 19 entities from across government, semi-government, and private sectors, including the Ministry of Education, the Department of Municipalities and Transport – Al Dhafra Region Municipality, the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
Other participating organizations included the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi, the Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute, Al Dhafra Hospitals – SEHA, LuLu Exchange, Mohamed Bin Zayed University for Humanities, Shams Power Company, ENPPI, Technip Energies, Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, G42, Teleperformance, and Rheinmetall.

Together, these organizations offered more than 150 job opportunities across diverse fields such as energy, finance, education, hospitality, and technology. The open day witnessed strong participation from jobseekers who engaged in interviews, career discussions, and professional networking.
His Excellency Nasser Mohammed Al Mansouri, the Undersecretary of the Ruler’s Representative Court in Al Dhafra Region, stated that, “This initiative highlights the importance of collaboration between government entities and private sector partners to create meaningful opportunities that support balanced, inclusive growth across the emirate and allow Al Dhafra’s citizens to build promising careers in their homeland.”
His Excellency Ibrahim Nassir, Undersecretary of the Department of Government Enablement – Abu Dhabi, noted that, “This Open Day in Al Dhafra reflects our continued efforts to extend career opportunities to all regions of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It embodies our leadership’s vision to ensure that our national talent is empowered to contribute to the emirate’s growth.”

“Through Mawaheb Talent Hub, we are creating direct pathways between jobseekers and employers, supporting UAE nationals in building meaningful careers and driving sustainable economic development within their local communities,” Nassir added.
Mawaheb Talent Hub highlighted that open days such as this are essential in accelerating recruitment, fostering personal interaction, and enhancing candidates’ preparedness for the job market. The initiative also complements the hub’s ongoing digital solutions, professional training, and smart job-matching tools designed to enable Emirati talent.
