Abu Dhabi: Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has inaugurated the first phase of the North Bani Yas housing project. This phase includes 1,365 new villas for UAE nationals and is valued at AED 3.1 billion ($844 million).
The 3.1 square kilometer project is being carried out at the President’s request, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The larger project was also called Al Mizn Neighbourhood by Sheikh Khaled. The construction, which covers 9.06 square kilometers, will have 3,453 new villas with contemporary styles mixed with Emirati cultural elements. The project has a total investment value of AED 9.3 billion.
The villas, which are located on 1,080 square meter lots, have five to six bedrooms and range in size from 425 to 602 square meters per unit.
Twelve architectural facades are featured in the first phase, which includes 820 homes with traditional aesthetics and 545 villas with a modern style. In addition, there are 17 parks and recreation places, 89.48 kilometers of pedestrian walkways, five business complexes, a school, and 15.5 kilometers of bike routes.
The Crown Prince emphasized that the Al Mizn Neighbourhood project, like other housing projects in Abu Dhabi, is a reflection of the leadership’s dedication to creating integrated communities with the basic amenities needed to satisfy Emirati families’ requirements and improve their quality of life.
He added that the project guarantees a good standard of living for its residents in a supportive community that advances the country’s growth in a number of priority areas and opens doors to further advancement.
Sheikh Khaled examined updates to the Al Mizn Neighbourhood project during his visit, including construction specifications and the exquisite exterior and interior designs of the villas, which cater to Emirati families’ needs and produce a modern, integrated urban setting that complies with sustainable development norms and principles.
