Ajman: Attending the inauguration ceremony of the new International Charity Organization (ICO) headquarters in Al Jerf, Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, complimented the assistance of President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for charitable and humanitarian work.
Sheikh Humaid claimed that the UAE was renowned for its innovative program and had established a distinguished strategy for fostering charitable and humanitarian activities. The Ruler of Ajman acknowledged the contribution of the nation’s charity organizations, particularly the International Charity Organisation (ICO), in helping the less fortunate.
The Supreme Council Member stressed that charity and humanitarian work is part of the UAE’s national culture, calling upon people to coordinate their efforts to support low-income neighborhoods, calling it everyone’s job and humanitarian obligation to ensure that disadvantaged families have a decent life.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Sultan Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the ICO, gave Sheikh Humaid and his party a tour of the organization’s facility and explained the organization’s divisions, halls, and operations.

Since the organization’s founding in 1984, Sheikh Humaid and Sheikh Ammar have backed it, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted. The ICO seeks to advance the use of sustainable resources, strengthen its position as a pioneer in charitable and humanitarian activities, and advance the giving culture and principles of tolerance through its strategic vision.
According to Dr. Khalid Abdul Wahab Al Khaja, the ICO’s Secretary-General, the organization’s prominence is a result of the support it provides to philanthropists. The opening was attended by a number of Sheikhs and authorities.
