Dubai: Innovate Life Sciences Lab has launched a cutting-edge genomics testing lab. It is a part of TECOM Group PJSC’s Dubai Science Park, which will provide a comprehensive range of genetic testing services and enhance Dubai’s ambitions for medical innovation.
The lab has teamed with Wipro Limited, a top provider of technology consulting and services, to create accessible tools for the analysis of genetic data using artificial intelligence and machine learning. The lab’s opening was announced at Arab Health 2023, where Dubai Science Park is exploring the potential of AI and health technology until 2nd February 2023. By using each patient’s genetic profile to identify, prevent, or treat disorders like cancer and uncommon diseases, genomics, the study of genes, has the potential to help personalise each patient’s medical path.

The lab has already received two orders for genomic testing valued at more than $10 million from the Asia Pacific region. More than 100 employees will be created by the facility at first, with hopes to double that number by 2026.
